EBG MedAustron is a cancer treatment and research centre in Wiener Neustadt that is unique in Austria. MedAustron uses ion therapy, an innovative form of radiation therapy, in the fight against cancer.
We offer a unique working environment built around the particle accelerator used for therapy and research with protons and carbon ions. We have set ourselves the goal of prolonging the lives of cancer patients and improving their quality of life.
As a Test Manager, you will play a key role within our dedicated Safety, Architecture & Regulatory Group. You’ll be responsible for leading all aspects of our test management — from developing test strategies and overseeing verification and validation activities for new projects, to evaluating and implementing innovative testing technologies. You’ll be working in a purpose-driven environment and your expertise will help ensure the safety and reliability of our particle accelerator that make a real difference in patients’ lives.

- Develop and maintain test strategies and test plans aligned with product development and manufacturing timelines
- Oversee production-level testing to ensure compliance with quality
standards - Manage verification and validation testing for new projects
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all test activities
- Evaluate and implement new testing technologies and tools
- Training for new testers
- Support internal and external audits
Skills that make you our strength:
- Completed academic studies (Bachelor, Master, DI or PhD) in Engineering, Medical Engineering or similar
- Professional experience is desireable
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and understanding of test management is required
- Familiarity with requirements management, formal documentation and
relevant regulatory requirements and standards - Experience with quality standards and regulatory affairs (ISO 13485,
Medical Device Regulation) is an advantage. - Good written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams and skilled at working in tandem with a team or unsupervised as required.
- You will have excellent communication skills and an independent and structured approach to work
For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out that the minimum gross annual salary for this position is € 46,200. Remuneration is based on a salary scale that takes into account professional experience and qualifications.
